The idea of setting up a site concerning the experiment of single electron interference (declared as the most beautiful experiment in Physics by a group of readers of the Physics World magazine in 2002) originated within a group of physicists active in research, in the teaching of physics, in the teaching of Physics education, history and philosophy of Science, and belonging to different institutions :
